Some disolouring to upper right corner, apperars to have been from tape.

Shikishi are a special type of square card paper used for writing poems and drawing illustrations, and in other cases mounting various types of prints to, including wood block prints and japanese are of all types. In some cases the shikishi has precious metals woven into the threads of the washi (traditional japanese paper).
